Bonnie Putterman has More than 30 Years of Experience

Bonnie Putterman is a distinguished legal professional with a robust background in criminal justice and family law. She graduated from Stockton University, where she majored in Criminal Justice, before advancing her legal studies at Widener University Delaware Law School. Notably, she earned the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Award, recognizing her exceptional advocacy skills.

Beginning her career as a law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey’s Criminal Part, Bonnie gained invaluable experience in the judicial system. She then worked as a probation officer in Atlantic County, further enriching her understanding of criminal law. Her tenure also includes positions at the Atlantic and Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.

For three decades, Bonnie has successfully operated her own law practice, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to serving her community. She is an active member of the Atlantic and Cape May Bar Association and serves as a panelist for the Matrimonial Early Settlement Panels. Appointed by the court as a Guardian ad Litem for children, she advocates for those who cannot speak for themselves, showcasing her dedication to children’s rights.

Bonnie also serves as a Guardian for alleged incapacitated persons (AIP) highlighting her compassion and empathy in sensitive situations. As a New Jersey Supreme Court certified mediator, she works towards amicable resolutions in various legal disputes. Additionally, she contributes to the legal community as a member of the District One Supreme Court Ethics Committee.

Her civic involvement extends to her role on the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of Linwood and as the Solicitor for the Egg Harbor Township Golf Corporation, McCullough’s. Beyond her legal duties, Bonnie is an esteemed member of the Foundation Board of Directors for Stockton University.
